I'm Natalie Hutchison the founder of Help To Move On, an organisation which can help victims in their times of need.

I endured an unhappy childhood, one unhappy marriage and another so full of violence that it culminated in a violent sexual assault as well as the humiliation of bankruptcy.

But despite facing some of the most horrendous nightmares a woman can deal with i have managed to pick myself up and turn my life around.

Now I want to help the thousands of others who have gone through the same nightmare as myself. I have picked my life up and turned it around. Im no longer bankrupt and now run a successful hairdressing and beauty salon.  I won the Barclays Trading Places award for overcoming adversity to start my own business, the highlight of which was being congratulated by the Queen and being nominated as one of the 2007 Women of the Year for courage and outstanding achievements in the face of adversity.

The biggest achievement I have had to overcome was being sexually assaulted.  And it is still something, that day by day, I have to face. For the first few weeks and months I thought I was getting over it, working hard and moving on.But then I would find myself gripped with fear and anxiety and would sob uncontrollably. Even little things like certain aftershaves take me back to that horrible day

It was during those times that I needed to talk to someone, to reach out and chat to somebody who could understand what I was going through.

That is why I decided to set up this charity to help others - and myself - who have been through the same nightmare.
